Tube Lines and the RMT have today reached agreement in principle on a two
year pay deal that will suspend the industrial action and ensure that normal
services run on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines. The RMT will now ballot its members with a recommendation to accept the two
year pay deal being offered. Terry Morgan, Chief Executive of Tube Lines said: “This is a good deal for Tube Lines. We are pleased that, following
constructive discussions with the RMT today, we have been able to agree in
principle a two year deal that will satisfy all parties.”
