It is Tube Lines’ policy to deliver safe, professional and assured engineering services to meet our customers’ requirements. Tube Lines recognises that the effective management of quality is an essential and integral part of its business management.

We support London Underground’s policies in this area and seek to provide assurance accordingly. Tube Lines is committed to continuous improvement in quality and actively strives to secure the co-operation and involvement of employees at all levels in this.

Improvement is particularly focused on the following policy objectives:

  • Understanding our customers' requirements and utilising the skills and expertise of our staff to continually improve the quality of our service
  • Ensuing all activities of the company, including those undertaken by external parties, are carried out in a way that meets or exceeds customer requirements
  • Establishing processes and systems to manage the interface with our customers and measure the level of customer satisfaction
  • Working in partnership with our suppliers to encourage a shared quality culture
  • Implementing systems to record, analyse, summarise and communicate relevant data needed to monitor the company's performance targets
  • Implementing an audit regime to ensure compliance with documented processes and procedures
  • Establishing a system of recording, monitoring and close out of improvement and corrective actions arising from audits
  • Implementing business planning processes which provide for the company's objectives and targets to be regularly set and reviewed
  • Establishing an integrated management system which combines with the requirements for managing health, safety, quality and environment
  • Implementing an efficient quality management system which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000
  • Cascading this policy to all our staff and ensuring they understand their part in its delivery
