Noise control is a top priority for Tube Lines. Our maintenance and construction work is carried out predominantly at night when the network is closed to the public. We make every effort to ensure that we do not cause undue disturbance to sleeping residents. We received 17 per cent fewer noise complaints in 2006 than in 2005.
