Employees are helping to raise thousands of pounds for Railway Children, a charity that supports abandoned and runaway children around the world, using an internet search facility on its intranet site. 10p is donated to the charity, at no cost to Tube Lines, every time the Yahoo search is used. Over the past two years employees have helped raise over £40,000 for Railway Children. Tube Lines also donated over £10,000 to Railway Children when it conducted a survey of its employees' opinions.
