Science and engineering ambasadors

Building the next generation of engineers

As an engineering company working in London, Tube Lines is keen to help promote engineering as a career, particularly in the communities that surround our lines.

Since Tube Lines launched its Science and Engineering Ambassador scheme in 2008,  in partnership with the London Engineering Project and STEMNET, our engineers have supported a range of activities to raise awareness of the variety of career paths in the engineering field.

Tube Lines employees have helped to support teachers in their understanding of engineering and we have also held visits to train depots and the signal training school in Stratford, as well as running activity days at our office in Canary Wharf.
