This accreditation, which was first awarded to us in 2005, recognises our status as a good employer. We gained successful reaccreditation for three years in 2008.
The Investor in People standard helps organisations to improve their performance in managing and developing employees. While being assessed we had to provide sufficient evidence to show that we could meet ten different indicators. These included learning and development and reward and recognition. The assessors said we excel in the graduate and apprentice schemes, the skills training centre and our work with the wider community. The Investor in People accreditation is important to Tube Lines. It shows our commitment to our investment in our employees and recognises our work with the communities that we serve.
