Our people
Enjoy a career with high visibility
Our workforce is over 2,300 people strong, and whatever their role, we want them to be happy, healthy, engaged and enthused. So we work hard to create a culture where ideas are welcomed, quickly reviewed and, where appropriate, put into practice.
We invest constantly in training, occupational health programmes and ongoing support. We recognise great work through our awards programmes and we pride ourselves on offering excellent prospects. What’s more, we listen to what our people say, getting feedback through regular focus groups and acting on it.
We’ve also been re-accredited with Investors in People (IiP) status until 2014. We are very proud of this achievement against a backdrop of enormous change within the organisation, both in terms of structure and ownership. Going forward, we’re looking to see if we can achieve the Gold standard in 2014, and our team of internal assessors will be working with the business on this project in the coming years.
Put simply, we’re passionate about making Tube Lines a great place to work. Only by doing that will we achieve our vision. Find out for yourself what working here means to our people by hearing from a selection of them first-hand.
